Additional FAQ's
How does ceASAP structure their 36 Hour CE Bundles?
In Nevada, licensees can complete up to 18 hours (6 courses) of self-paced online continuing education, covering both mandatory and elective subjects like Property Management, Business Broker, and General courses. By including mandatory courses, like Agency, Contracts, Ethics, Risk Management, and Law, directly in your bundle, you’ll have the flexibility to select any Live or ZOOM CE courses to fulfill the full 36-hour continuing education requirement.
If I'm a Property Management or Business Broker, do I need to complete extra continuing education hours?
No. If you hold additional permits, such as for Property Management or Business Broker, the required continuing education (CE) for those permits can be included as part of your 18 general CE hours.
For example, if you have a Property Management permit, you'll need to complete 9 hours of Property Management CE. These 9 hours will count toward your general education requirement, so you'll only need 9 more general CE hours to fulfill the 36-hour total.
How do ceASAP’s Live/ZOOM course credits work?
When you purchase one of our CE bundles, it comes with six Live/ZOOM CE course credits. You can select your Live/ZOOM courses either at the time of purchase or whenever it’s most convenient for you. Keep in mind, you’ll have 180 days from the date of purchase to select and complete your Live/ZOOM CE courses as part of your 36-hour bundle package.
Can I take Broker or Broker-Salesperson courses as self-paced online CE?
Yes. The Nevada Real Estate Division (NRED) allows you to complete any Continuing Education (CE) courses through live instruction (classroom or live-streamed) or as self-paced internet courses. This provides ultimate flexibility, especially since specific live courses may not always be available when you need them most.
Since my Broker, Property Management, or Business Broker CE are self-paced, how do I complete my other NRED mandatory CE?
Great question! If you hold a Broker or Broker-Salesperson license, or a special permit (such as Property Management or Broker Management), you must complete any mandatory courses not included in your self-paced bundle via Live/ZOOM CE.
For example, a Salesperson with a Property Management permit receives 9 hours of self-paced PM courses in their bundle. These replace Ethics, Risk Reduction, and one Contracts course, as NRED limits self-paced internet CE to a maximum of six courses.
To meet your full 36-hour renewal requirement, you must complete all remaining mandatory subjects (Agency, Law, etc.) through Live/ZOOM sessions. Please ensure you select these mandatory courses when scheduling your live training.
Can I take the same CE subject type more than once?
Yes. You can complete multiple courses in the same subject area. For instance, if you take an online (self-paced) Ethics course and later attend a Live/ZOOM Ethics course, the second course will count toward your general continuing education credits. This is possible because every course is assigned a unique NRED-issued number.
Do I have to select all six live CE courses when I purchase the bundle?
No, you don’t need to decide everything upfront. You can start by selecting the courses that suit your schedule now, and choose the rest later. Our 36-hour CE bundles include six live/ZOOM course credits that you can use at a later time. Just keep in mind, you’ll have 180 days from your purchase date to select and complete all your live CE courses.
Can I reschedule a Live/ZOOM CE course if I can't attend?
Yes! We understand that plans can change. You can reschedule a previously scheduled Live/ZOOM CE course up to one hour before the course start time. Simply log into your account, go to your scheduled courses, find the course you want to reschedule, and select the “Reschedule” option. For a step-by-step guide, watch the video below.
